My home is a refuge not only from the world, but from my worries, my troubles, my concerns. I like beautiful things around me. I like to be beautiful because it delights my eyes and my soul is lifted up.

Memorial Day Weekend Part 2

Monday morning the guys cleaned off the rain from the pool cover, and cleaned the pool.
It was 30 degrees...We still went with our plans.

While they were cleaning the pool we made breakfast.

 recipe found here

Yes...It was very cold, but we turned up the heat to 89, and it was toasty warm,
as long as you stayed in the pool.
We swam for several hours until the rain and hail came down.

It was a fun day wearing our patriotic shirts, and lounging around.
Mike, here in the picture is wearing his tournament shirt. He's in a baseball
playoff, and was scheduled to play on Monday.
Because of the rains, he got to chill with the family.
Hope Memorial day 2011 was a memorable weekend for your families as well.

That pool looks delightful and if it was 89 - I would have been tempted to never get out!

Another successful Heugly event! It looks like you had games going in every room of the house - are you cleaned up yet?
