The bird with feathers of blue is waiting for you, back in your own backyard.
You'll see your castle in Spain through your windowpane, back in your own
backyard.
Oh, you can go to the east, go to the west, but someday you'll come,
Weary at heart, back where you started from.
You'll find your happiness lies right under your eyes, back in your own
backyard.

Saturday I was on a mission to find ripe juicy peaches for
a yummy dessert for Labor Day.
I went to Harmons grocery store, but didn't find any.
My husband went to Maceys
and bought me some large but very hard peaches.
So we went looking for a produce stand on the street
that sold peaches.
We settled on a Market that specilizes in local fruit and veggies.
Expensive but I needed those peaches.

The next day Mark was walking around
our back yard and looked at our Peach tree
our back yard and looked at our Peach tree
and found the most beautiful large juicy peaches.
Right in our own backyard.
Moral to this story, look in your own
back yard for happiness or peaches before looking elsewhere.

Here is the most de.lic.ious dessert ever!!!!
Aloha Peach Dessert:
Crush 1 graham cracker crust and
add 1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. melted butter
Mix together and pat most of it in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.
I reserve a few crumbs to sprinkle on top.
Melt 1/2 lb. small marshmallows with 1/4 cup milk.
I do this on med-low heat on the stove, stirring often.
Allow this mixture to cool for a few minutes.
Whip 2 cups of whipping cream until fairly stiff.
Combine with marshmallow mixture when it's cool.
Slice 6-8 large peaches and sprinkle with a little sugar.
Stir in the sugar and allow them to sit while you make the cream mixture.
Spoon the peaches onto the graham cracker crust evenly throughout the pan.
Spread the marshmallow-whip cream mixture on top.
Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Allow to set in the refrigerator covered for several hours or overnight.

on a scale of 1-100 this dessert is a 100
