My home is a refuge not only from the world, but from my worries, my troubles, my concerns. I like beautiful things around me. I like to be beautiful because it delights my eyes and my soul is lifted up.

We were egged...part-1

Back in the day...When I was a roudy
teenager, friends were known to have" egged" our house.
It was messy and not a nice thing to do.
*
Today in my twilight years, we were
egged again...but in a very good way!
***
It began when Ethan our middle son called and asked if we
needed help hiding eggs for the
little ones on Easter?
*
Did we need help? yeh!
we are old and our yard is gi-normous.
So Ethan and Amy and Joe and Marci came over
to help us out.
(don't want to say the other 3 sons were slackers, but.......if the shoe fits)
sorry, drifted there for a moment.
*
Back to Saturday afternoon.
We went to lunch first
La Cocina for mexican food.
Amy refused to get her pix taken so I grabbed this
cute one of Marci and Joe!
(6 kids later, and still madly in love)
Next we went back to the house and decided how to
hide dozens, and dozens of eggs, including
3 money eggs.
Here's Mark grabbin money from his wallet, to put in the crystal eggs.
It was a beautiful day to hide eggs.

And then on Easter the fun began...All the hiding, paid off.
GET READY...SET....
NO, ITS NOT YOUR TURN JUST YET...

The littlest gets to go before anyone else..
Annie was the first to find an egg.

Not sure, but notice the blonde in the far left bottom?
Does it look like she is getting a head start?
Because guess who found the most eggs?
Yep, our cute Autumn.
That's one happy girl.
Colin was another happy winner
but not everyone was happy!!
Camri was sad she didn't win something..
Sorry sweetheart, isn't this a fun tradition
grandpa and grandma have?
While everyone was looking for the "big money" egg...

some of us were just hangin and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Enough already!! Everyone is waiting for a clue
for the big money egg.
It's on the grass in the front yard!
Kaeli is down on her hands and knees, and yep it was buried under the grass.
It was her dad who hid the egg.

Congratulations Kaeli! that was a tuff egg to find!
Till next year.......
When we get egged again!
