You can never hold back Heugly traditions!! especially on Easter (part-3)

It began over 43 years ago, the Heugly bunch started this

fun and wacky egg decorating contest.

Back then we didn't think to blow out the eggs and save them,

we just decorated raw or boiled eggs.

Kind of sad because some of our first egg entries were amazing.

This was a tradition for Marks side of the family, and when we got married

and started a family we wanted it to be our tradition as well.

Then all of our kids got married and they kept it as

one of their holiday traditions too!

How far will it go, and last?

No telling, but I have an idea...

Sorry we have to do things in order. We always eat first.

After we eat, we do the Easter egg hunt outside..

Then comes the egg contest. We have goose bumps, the heebie jeebies,

nervous stomachs, and the shakes.

Because every single person wants to win, and feels they should WIN!!

But only one can take the coveted grandpa Heugly

trophy home.

We start youngest to oldest, walking around the room

 showing the egg to everyone.

 It is then placed on the table with a number attached for the voting later on.

Beau was the youngest at 4 and he did a batman egg.

 Camri did winnie the poo

 Leah did Lorax

 Colin did the snake with a mouse in his mouth

 Autumn wore this around her head and called it the

"Egg-cessory" egg

Emma came out doing the splits and called this egg the ballet slipper

(voted for this egg)

Luke wanted to scare a few people by making the hairy eye egg

Hunter made the bird house

Dallas made the Lakers egg

Dakota did the mocking jay pin from hunger games

Chris did the man in the boat egg

Mark made a bomber plane

McKenna made "there's going to be a party tonight egg"

Mike did the"HOLY GRAIL"

 Kaeli did a legos egg

 Lauren made a beatiful floral arrangement

McKay did  "THINK BIG"

that's a tiny bird sittin on top a big egg.

 McKinzie did a train

 and now for the ADULTS eggs.

Joe did the snack attack egg, bribing all the kids with skittles

for voting for his egg

Amy brought out a lit candle (inside the egg) 

Marci did the UP house egg

 Ethan did the the fossil egg

 Brandon just got back from Disneyland and did "Its a small small world"

Justin did  Dr. pepper

 and I "nailed it with my fingernail egg"

Mark also did the Holy Grail

after everyone shared their egg, it is time to vote:
